Le Jardin d’Artois
2016
In 2016, Lucie Monin unveils her first collection of Plexiglas paintings "Bossa Nova". Large and small formats take place in this magnificent Parisian mansion.
This collection seduces the public by its minimalist and feminine side, a new medium that she revisits in a style marked by surrealism and poetry.
It is a question of freedom, of a feeling of infinity which emanates from each painting. This series of paintings, largely influenced by the Bossa Nova musical current, also evokes the lushness of Brazilian landscapes that are mixed like a dreamlike garden.
