Hôtel Dame des Arts x Ateliers Fey

Galactique: This composition is the result of a collaboration with Ateliers Fey and in partnership with the Hotel Dame des Arts, a new Parisian venue imbued with the artistic and literary spirit of the Latin Quarter.

The collaboration was a natural fit, as the Ateliers Fey have specialised in upholstery for generations, with unique expertise and many innovations to their credit.

The headboard is made up of several pieces sheathed in parchment, like a puzzle. The different shades of blue add depth and tell a story. From this twilight blue, the eye is drawn to a cosmic/mineral universe where slender shapes respond to each other with brilliance, creating a beautiful visual impact.

The gold lines don't remain static, but undulate and vibrate according to the light and where you stand to observe the setting. It really comes alive with the rhythm of the day.

An elegant hand-embroidered bed linen set by Renaissance Paris also highlights the headboard.

In the end, it took around 40 hours to create this composition.
